The Moody Church

Welcome!

At The Moody Church we are proud of our heritage, but the past is not the focus of our attention. We strongly believe that God has called us to meet the needs of this generation through Biblical instruction and deep personal friendships.

God has given a renewed vision in our hearts to become known in Chicago as a caring, culturally diverse community that seeks to transform lives through a clear witness for Christ, quality programming, and the lifestyle of each believer.

Our world is far different than it was in 1864 when D. L. Moody founded this church. And yet, in many ways it is still the same. People still need the message of Christ’s love and they still respond warmly to a caring community. Regardless of position or station, race or color, all are equal in His eyes. All are welcome to worship the King of kings and Lord of lords here at The Moody Church.
